Will the Raeds HE work on a normal Cherry MX hotswap board?
No. Despite the MX footprint, this is an analog Hall Effect switch and only works on HE PCBs — it is confirmed compatible with Wooting and Venom boards, and is not compatible with MX or standard EC PCBs.
Is the Raeds HE actually linear or tactile?
It is a rubber-dome EC design, so there is a faint dome character to the keystroke, but AEBoards lightened it to read closer to linear. Expect a soft, cushioned downstroke rather than a defined tactile bump.
Can I swap the rubber domes between switches?
No. The domes are custom-fit to the Raeds housing and are not transferable to other dome sheets.
