Cherry MX Green

Green is essentially a stiffer Blue. It uses the same click-jacket mechanism and produces the same sharp click, but the spring is heavier — 80g at actuation versus Blue's 50g — so it resists accidental presses and rewards a more deliberate stroke.

It actuates at 80g, but the click jacket pushes the peak force to around 105g before the click breaks. That heavier peak is why Green feels noticeably more substantial than its actuation number alone suggests.

It can, but the click mechanism puts the reset point above the actuation point, which makes rapid double-taps less consistent than a linear switch. Most gamers prefer a linear; Green is built for typing first.
