Is the Cherry MX2A Orange the same as the old Hirose Orange?
It's a deliberate revival of that classic linear, rebuilt on Cherry's modern MX2A tooling. The spirit and the 55g linear weighting carry over, but the housing tolerances, factory lube and smoothness are noticeably improved over the vintage original.
Does the MX2A Orange need lube or films?
No. It ships factory lubed with very little spring crunch or ping, and the housings are tight enough that films are unnecessary for most builds.
What weight is the Cherry MX2A Orange?
