Durock Black 78g

The 78g figure refers to the bottom-out weight set by the gold-plated spring. Actuation lands closer to 67g, so it reads as a firm, deliberate linear rather than a true ultra-heavy switch.

It ships factory lubed and feels good out of the box. A light hand lube on the rails and springs tightens up smoothness and quiets the spring, but it's optional rather than essential.

The polycarbonate top and nylon bottom housing give it a deeper, fuller linear thock with a slightly muted high end — heavier and rounder than a typical all-nylon budget linear.
