The POM stem is the headline here. Against the polycarbonate top housing it glides smoothly, and the factory lube is applied well enough that scratch is minimal out of the box: you feel a faintly creamy slide rather than the dry rasp common at this price. Stem wobble is well controlled in both directions, which is impressive given the cost. The nylon bottom housing deepens the acoustics, pushing the sound toward a fuller, lower thock rather than a clacky linear.

Tuning

These are ready to type on as-is. If you want the last few percent, a light pass of thin lube on the rails and a dab on the springs removes any residual ping and tightens the glide; switch films are largely unnecessary thanks to the snug housing fit.
