Is the Durock Shrimp the same as a silent T1?
Yes. The Shrimp is Durock's silent-tactile variant of the T1, keeping the familiar rounded tactile bump while adding a silencing mechanism in the stem to soften both the down-stroke and bottom-out.
How heavy is the Durock Shrimp?
It bottoms out at 67g, which lands in the medium-heavy range. The tactile event sits up near the top of a 4mm travel, so it reads as firm and deliberate rather than light.
Does the Durock Shrimp need lubing?
It ships pre-lubed and is usable straight out of the pack. A light hand lube on the springs and a thin film on the housings will tighten the sound and smooth the stroke if you want to push it further.
