Specs and Feel

Pink Pig actuates at 45g and bottoms out at a light 50g over a 3.5mm total travel, with a T2 stem in a polycarbonate top and P5 bottom housing. The 21mm single-stage spring is on the shorter side, which keeps the spring force linear-feeling rather than progressive. When the units are good, the travel is smooth and the light weighting makes it pleasant for fast typing and gaming. The PC-heavy housing gives a moderately bright sound. The catch is consistency: some switches arrive with crooked pins that need straightening before they will seat, and a minority rattle or click under press, which drags down the otherwise tidy experience.

Tuning

Here, tuning is partly remedial. Start by checking and straightening pins before installing, and reseat any switch that rattles. A light relube with 205g0 on the rails will smooth out the less consistent units and quiet minor rattle. A spring swap to a 22mm spring can also firm up the bottom-out if you find the stock 21mm a touch hollow. None of this is mandatory, but it is the difference between a frustrating build and a good cheap one. Films are optional.

Verdict

Buy Pink Pig if you want maximum linears for minimum money and you are comfortable hand-checking your switches. At this price the value is real when the units are good. If you would rather pay a little more for guaranteed consistency, the HMX 80Retros x KD200 or Macchiato V2 are smoother and more uniform out of the box. Pink Pig is a budget pick with a real asterisk.
