The standout is the UPE stem, a slippery, self-lubricating polymer that gives the glide a genuinely buttery quality with very little scratch. The PA66 top and bottom housing keeps the acoustics warm and damped, which is why the sound reads medium-thocky instead of clacky. Stem wobble is modest and well within normal for an HMX linear. Factory lube is applied evenly enough that most users will be happy stock.

Tuning

This is a switch you can drop in and enjoy. The pre-lube is competent and the UPE stem does not benefit much from added stem lube, since too much can actually dull the glide. If you want to refine it, a thin film on the housing tightens the sound and shaves the last hint of wobble. A slightly heavier spring (around 50g) wakes up the lighter variant if you find 37g too feathery for gaming.

Verdict

Buy the Nap if you want a soft, smooth, low-effort linear with a warm signature and no fuss. The UPE stem sets it apart from the more common POM HMX linears, and it leans quieter than something like the HMX Xinhai, which is brighter and clackier. Skip it only if you specifically want a sharp, poppy sound; for that, look at a nylon-light build like the Yogurt S instead.
