It shares the PC-top-over-nylon recipe with the HMX Hyacinth, which makes a great alternative if the Pearl is sold out, while the Sunset Gleam offers a similar character in more weight options. Skip it only if you want a deep, muted signature, where a full-nylon switch like the Su Pink R2 fits better.
