Is the HMX Volume 0 linear or tactile?
It comes in two flavors. This page covers the silent tactile, which adds a light early bump around 53g of tactile force; there is also a silent linear version with a slightly heavier 40g actuation.
How quiet is the Volume 0 compared to other silent switches?
It is among the more muted silent options available. HMX leaned hard into dampening here, so both the tactile event and the bottom-out land softly with very little of the mushy sponginess that plagues many silents.
Does the Volume 0 come lubed from the factory?
Yes. It ships factory-lubed, which is part of why it feels smooth and consistent straight out of the bag with no immediate need to tear it down.
