Why does the Macchiato sound so clacky?
The POK stem and PA12 nylon top housing both ring brighter than POM, so bottom-out lands with a sharp, high-pitched clack. Pair it with a stiffer plate and a hard case to lean into that.
Does it need lube?
No. HMX factory lube is excellent and these come out of the bag glassy smooth. Most builders run them stock.
How heavy is it?
Light. 42g actuation rising to a 50g bottom-out — quick and easy to press without feeling flimsy.
