Is it a good Cherry MX Blue alternative?
Yes. At roughly 50g with a 2.0mm pre-travel and a classic click-jacket mechanism, it covers the same ground as an MX Blue for a fraction of the cost.
Should I lube it?
Leave clicky switches mostly alone — lubing the slider kills the click. You can lightly grease the springs to quiet any ping, but keep oil off the click jacket.
