Tuning

Resist the urge to lube the slider: oil on the click jacket mutes the very thing you bought it for. If you get spring ping, a careful dab of grease on the spring ends helps without touching the click mechanism. Otherwise this is a stock-and-go switch; thocky keycaps or a foamed case will tame some of the high-pitched ring if it is too sharp for you.

Buy the Kailh Blue if you want maximum click for minimum money and you type somewhere nobody will file a complaint. It is louder and sharper than a tactile Box Brown and far brighter than a refined clicky like the Box Jade, which sounds deeper and more controlled. Skip it for shared spaces, late-night sessions, or competitive gaming.
