Yes. At a 60g actuation it is on the heavy side for a tactile brown, though the short low-profile travel makes it feel a little lighter in practice than the number implies.
Does it use MX keycaps?
No. This is a Kailh Choc low-profile switch, so it is not compatible with standard MX-style keycaps — you need Choc-specific low-profile caps.
Is it smooth out of the box?
Honestly, not very. Stock Choc tactiles tend to be a touch scratchy with some stem wobble, so they benefit from careful boards and realistic expectations.
