The Polia actuates at roughly 45g on a 1.9mm pre-travel into a 3.8mm total travel, riding a polycarbonate top and PA66 nylon bottom housing on a stainless-steel spring. That housing pairing gives it a soft, slightly muted sound rather than a sharp one, and the bottom-out is the highlight, well cushioned and satisfying. The bump itself is light to medium, more of a smooth round than a hard snap. As with most light tactiles, slow presses surface a faint texture, but in normal typing the switch reads as smooth and quiet. It is an unusually well-mannered budget tactile.

Tuning

The Polia is good stock and largely ready to go, but it responds well to a quick tune. A thin lube on the rails removes the slight scratch that light tactiles tend to show and leaves the bottom-out feeling even creamier. Keep lube off the leaf to preserve the bump. The spring is fine as-is for most people, though a swap to a slightly heavier spring is an option if you find 45g too eager. Films are unnecessary given the already-controlled wobble. Most people will be happy running it untouched.

Verdict

Buy the Polia if you want a smooth, quiet, low-fatigue tactile and you do not need a heavy bump. It is gentler and quieter than something like the Kailh Speed Copper, and friendlier for all-day typing than an aggressive Hako True. Skip it only if you crave strong, snappy feedback; this switch is deliberately mellow. At its price, it is one of the better value light tactiles around.
