Frequently asked

How heavy is the Aliaz 80g?

At 80g actuation it is a firm switch — heavier than most stock tactiles. It rewards a deliberate typing style and resists accidental presses, but can fatigue light typists over long sessions.

Is it actually silent?

It is one of the quieter silent-tactiles around. Built-in dampening kills most of the bottom-out and top-out clack, leaving a soft thud. It will not annoy people near you.

How does the bump compare to a Cherry MX Clear?

Similar character — a rounded, gentle tactile event rather than a sharp snap — but silenced and smoother thanks to the dampened stem.
