The bump is light and rounded — present but never sharp — and the PC-and-nylon housing keeps the sound medium and reasonably full rather than thin or loud. Tuning

It’s good stock and doesn’t ask for much. The factory lube already handles smoothness, and because the bump is gentle to begin with, any extra lube on the tactile leg would risk flattening it into something close to a linear. If you open them, keep lube off the leg and reserve films for housings that show play. For the vast majority of builds, run them as shipped.
