The newer top mold eliminates the sticky catch at the start of the press, so top-out feels clean. A 21mm single-stage Japanese spring drives the return, and factory lube keeps travel even with no obvious scratch. Stem wobble is in line with Keygeek’s current molds — controlled enough to stay out of the way.

Tuning

There’s not much to chase here. The Little Ghost arrives lubed and consistent, so building stock is the right first move. If you want to lean even harder into the low end, switch films tighten the housing fit and add a touch more body, but they’re an enhancement rather than a fix — the deep profile is already baked into the materials.

Pick the Little Ghost if you want a smooth, deep linear that’s ready to type and free of the sticky top-out that cheaper switches suffer. It hits the thocky brief Keygeek designed it around without any bench work. It’s very close in spirit to the Keygeek Little Elf, which goes even deeper and more muted via softer materials; if you’d rather the opposite — bright and loud — the Keygeek Little Witch is the one. For balanced deep thock, the Little Ghost is a safe budget bet.
