The LY stem glides cleanly and keeps things smooth, while the firm 55g floor gives each press a defined, clean landing. Factory lube means good smoothness stock.

Tuning

The M3 is built around its clean clack, so keep tuning light. It ships factory lubed and is smooth as-is; a heavy re-lube would dull the sharp sound that is its main draw. A light spring lube handles any ping from the single-stage spring. Films would tighten wobble and push the sound a touch more muted — useful only if you want to trade some brightness for control. For most people, stock preserves the clean, clacky character best.
