Are KTT Cream Yellows good for the price?
Very. At well under a quarter per switch they punch above their weight on smoothness, which is the main reason to buy KTT linears.
Why do they sound quiet?
The nylon bottom housing absorbs more than it reflects, so the sound is soft and rounded rather than poppy. Some people love it; others wish it had more presence.
Should I lube them?
They come factory lubed and are usable stock. A light hand-lube with a thin oil sharpens the smoothness and adds a bit of body to the sound.
