KTT Hyacinth

The KTT Hyacinth is a 45g long-pole linear with a short, poppy bottom-out and a PA66 base. Cheap, smooth, and characterful — my review and tuning take.

Frequently asked

What does the long pole stem do?

It shortens the travel and gives a firmer, more abrupt bottom-out, which produces a sharper, poppier sound than a standard linear of the same weight.

Is the Hyacinth good for gaming?

Yes. The light 45g actuation and shortened 3.5mm travel make it quick to fire and easy on the fingers for fast key presses.

Do they need lube out of the box?

They're factory lubed and ready to type, but long-pole switches can show a little spring noise, so a spring swap or hand-lube tightens the sound.
