The Moonrosa actuates at 37g and bottoms at 45g, with 1.8mm of pre-travel and 3.5mm of total travel. Both housings and the partial box-style stem are POM, riding on a 22mm spring. That all-POM build is the whole story: POM is self-lubricating, so POM-on-POM is inherently slick and quiet, producing very little scratch even before you add lube. The trade-off is acoustics — POM housings absorb rather than ring, so the sound is soft, muted-leaning, and medium-thocky rather than crisp. The partial box stem keeps wobble in check and helps the switch feel composed despite the low spring weight. Factory lube tops off an already smooth slide.

Tuning

The Moonrosa is smooth enough stock that lube is optional, which is rare at this price. If you do lube, keep it thin so you don’t drag down the already-light feel. The lightest spring users might find the actuation imprecise; a slightly heavier spring (45–50g) is the obvious mod if you want a similar feel with more control, and it firms up the bottom-out a little too. Because the sound is soft, build these on a reflective plate if you want more presence; foam will only quiet them further.

Verdict

Buy the Moonrosa if you want a buttery, ultra-light linear and you’re a gentle typist — it is smoother and gentler than heavier KTT options like the Cream Yellow. If you bottom out hard or want a punchy sound, the light spring and absorptive POM housing will disappoint, and a long-pole switch like the KTT Hyacinth suits you better. For low-effort, low-fatigue typing, though, the Moonrosa is a delight.
