Specs and Feel

Pre-travel sits around 1.9mm with a shorter 3.5mm total travel, so you bottom out a little sooner and the keystroke feels snappier. The all-polycarbonate housing is the defining choice here: PC is harder and more acoustically lively than nylon, which is why the Orange reads clacky and bright rather than deep. The POM stem keeps the slide smooth against the harder housing, and factory lube tames scratch. A 22mm gold-plated spring keeps the return brisk and helps suppress ping. Wobble is reasonable for the price point.

Tuning

The Orange is usable stock, but its harder housing means any leftover ping or scratch is more audible than on a nylon switch. A thin hand-lube on the rails and a spring lube will clean that up and make the bright sound feel intentional rather than tinny. Films help tighten the housing and reduce hollowness. Don’t over-lube, though — drowning the PC housing kills the clacky pop you bought these for.

Verdict

Buy the Orange if you want a medium-weight linear with a bright, crisp, short-travel character. It’s clackier and a touch heavier than the long-pole KTT Mint, and a sharper alternative to the deep, soft KTT Grapefruit. For a budget board that wants energy and pop over warmth, the Orange is a strong pick.
