Tuning

Rose is smooth enough stock that lube is optional. If you want to refine it, a thin coat on the rails and a touch on the spring ends will silence any progressive-spring ping, which is the most likely thing you would want to address. Films help tighten the housing seam and lean the sound deeper still, but they are a nice-to-have rather than a fix. For most people, stock is the right call.

It is the deeper, heavier-bottoming sibling to the KTT Strawberry — choose Rose for a more planted, nylon-tinged thock and Strawberry for a lighter, brighter finish. Skip it if you want uniform light weighting all the way down, since the steep spring ramp is the whole personality here.
