POM stem in a polycarbonate housing is the bright-and-smooth recipe — glide is good, scratch is low for the price, and the PC walls give the sound its clean, poppy clack. Stem wobble is well controlled for a budget switch. Factory lube means it is genuinely ready to use, and the sound is the standout: crisp and resonant rather than muted.

Tuning

These are smooth and well-tuned stock, so most people should run them as-is. If you want to perfect them, a thin dab on the spring ends removes any faint ping the gold-plated spring might introduce, and a whisper of thin lube on the rails takes care of residual scratch. Films are optional; the housing already seats reasonably tight. The value proposition is precisely that you do not have to tune them to enjoy them.

Buy Strawberry if you want a bright, light, great-sounding linear on the cheap — it is a benchmark for budget value. Against its KTT stablemates, it sits brighter and clackier than the warmer, nylon-bottomed Rose and the deeper Red Wine. Skip it only if you specifically want a muted or heavier switch, since its whole appeal is that clean, poppy clack at a throwaway price.
