The defining feature is the silicone built into the POM stem: it absorbs the impact at the bottom and softens the return, which is what makes the switch so quiet. A PC top paired with a modified PA66 bottom housing keeps the structure stable while contributing to the muted, soft tone. Factory lube keeps the linear stroke smooth and largely scratch-free, and stem wobble is well controlled. As with all silents, there is a faint cushioned softness at the extremes — that is the dampening doing its job.

Tuning

Leave these stock. The factory lube and the silicone stem are tuned together, and adding your own lube can deaden the feel or gum up the silicone pads, undermining the very thing you bought them for. The only defensible tweak is a touch of spring lube if you hear ping. Films are unnecessary given the snug housing. The Yogurt is meant to be a drop-in quiet switch, not a tuning project.

Buy the Yogurt if you want a smooth, near-silent linear that still feels controlled rather than spongy.
