A POM stem in a nylon housing is the classic recipe behind the full, slightly deep sound and the smooth-ish travel between bumps. JWK manufacturing keeps tolerances tight, so stem wobble is well controlled — tight enough that films are often unnecessary. The nickel-plated spring rounds it out. One quirk: the housing passes little LED light through, so it is not ideal for shine-through builds.

Tuning

These are good enough stock that many people never touch them — the bump is crisp, the housing is tight, and scratch is low.
