Frequently asked
Is the Moyu Studio Yurui HE a Hall Effect switch?
Yes. It is a magnetic Hall Effect linear, so it needs an HE-compatible board to read its analog magnetic signal — it won't work in a standard mechanical PCB. It's validated against N-Pole-down ecosystems including Wooting, SteelSeries, Corsair, NuPhy, KBDfans and others, but always confirm your specific board before buying.
How heavy is the Yurui HE?
It's on the lighter side: roughly 37g to actuate and about 42g at bottom-out across 3.6mm of total travel. That makes it an easy, fast linear that suits both gaming and long typing sessions.
Does the Yurui HE need lubing?
No. It ships factory lubed and feels smooth out of the box, so there's no practical need to open it up. Hand-lubing magnetic stems is also fiddly and rarely worth the effort here.
