Will the Mount Tai GT HE work in any keyboard?
No. It is a Hall-effect magnetic switch that needs a compatible HE/magnetic PCB and software — it will not register in a normal mechanical board.
Does it need lube out of the box?
It ships pre-lubed and the magnetic mechanism has no metal-leaf contact to scratch, so most people run it stock. There is nothing to spring-swap on a magnetic switch anyway.
What makes this one different from other magnetic linears?
The one-piece housing and oversized 9.35mm contact surface are aimed at cutting bottom-out wobble and keeping the rapid-trigger stepping consistent.
