Does the POM King work in a regular keyboard?
No. It is a Hall-effect magnetic switch and needs a compatible HE/magnetic PCB — it will not register on a standard mechanical board.
Why is it called POM King?
Both the stem and housing are POM, which is what gives it the deeper, fuller sound and self-lubricating smoothness that sets it apart from PC-housed HE switches.
Do I need to lube it?
No. The all-POM construction is self-lubricating and there is no metal contact leaf to scratch, so it runs well stock.
