The all-POM stem and housing are the headline: POM is naturally slick and acoustically deep, so this switch sounds noticeably fuller and more thocky than the PC-housed HE switches it competes with. A light diffuser window keeps RGB even. Wobble is well controlled, helped by the consistent POM-on-POM fit.

Tuning

This is a stock-and-go switch. The all-POM build is self-lubricating, and with no leaf to film or relube there is genuinely nothing to wrench on inside the housing. Spring swaps would disturb the magnetic behavior, so leave them. All the real adjustment happens in firmware: dial in your actuation point and rapid-trigger sensitivity to match whether you are typing or gaming. If you want even more depth, that comes from the case and plate, not the switch.

Verdict

Buy the POM King if you are on an analog/HE platform and want the deepest, fullest-sounding magnetic linear in the bracket — it is thockier than the TTC Uranus and the frosted Mount Tai GT HE, both of which lean cleaner and brighter. Skip it if you are on a standard mechanical board, where it simply will not work, or if you prefer a crisp, clacky signature. For a warm, smooth, gaming-ready magnetic build, it is a standout.
