The travel is the interesting part: actuation lands at just 1.08mm with a 3.70mm total throw, so you trip the switch early and still get a near-standard bottom-out depth. A polycarbonate top housing over a POM-and-Nylon-blend bottom is the reason the sound stays rounded and a touch deep instead of clacky — PC tops tame brightness while the POM-heavy bottom adds body. The rounded MX-style POM stem keeps friction low, and the 25.5mm stainless spring plus factory lube means stem wobble is well controlled for the price. Out of the box it’s smooth with only faint scratch on slow presses.

Tuning

Honestly, this one is fine stock. The factory lube job is even and the spring doesn’t ping, so the cheapest worthwhile upgrade is just settling them into a well-foamed board. If you want to push it, a light hand-lube of the rails with 205g0 and a swap to a longer two-stage spring will deepen the bottom-out and firm up the return. Films are optional — the housing tolerances are tight enough that most people won’t notice a difference.

Verdict

Buy the Tiger Standard if you want a no-drama linear for a budget build or a first hot-swap board. It gives you most of what a pricier factory-lubed linear does — smoothness, a full sound, controlled wobble — for pocket change. If you’d rather have a deeper, heavier signature, step up to something like the Wuque WS Arowana Gold; if you specifically want this light-and-fast feel cheap, the Tiger is the easy call.
