How heavy is the TTC Tiger Standard?
It actuates at 45g and bottoms out around 55g, so it sits in the light-to-medium linear band. The short 1.08mm pre-travel makes it feel quicker than the numbers suggest.
Does it need lube out of the box?
Not really. It ships factory-lubed and the spring is already quiet, so I'd type on it stock first and only break out the brush if you want to chase a deeper bottom-out.
Is it a good budget switch?
For the money it's hard to fault. The PC-over-POM/Nylon housing keeps things smooth and reasonably full without the scratch you'd expect at this price.
