medium-thockyFrequently asked
Is the WS BigLucky a heavy or light tactile switch?
It sits on the lighter side of tactile. Actuation lands around 45g with a bottom-out near 55g, so the bump is present and readable without the fatigue of a heavy tactile. It suits long typing sessions more than it courts gamers chasing a sharp, snappy bump.
Does the BigLucky need lube or films?
No. It ships factory-lubed and the housing tolerances are tight enough that films are unnecessary — the dodecagon stem already minimizes wobble. Most people will be happy running it stock.
What makes the dodecagon stem and T-Style rail different?
The twelve-sided stem reduces play at each contact point for a more planted feel, while the T-Style rail moves the travel guide onto the top housing so it hugs the stem rails. Together they aim for a stable, consistent keypress with very little side-to-side wobble.
