The Dash 55g is a magnetic Hall-effect linear, not a conventional MX switch. Specs and Feel

It bottoms out around 55g on a roughly 3.5mm stroke driven by a 15mm single-stage spring, so the press is medium-light with a quick, lively return. The polycarbonate top and nylon bottom housing pair with a POM stem, and that mix lands a balanced medium-thocky tone rather than anything bright or sharp. Because the magnetic design removes contact scratch entirely, the travel reads exceptionally clean and consistent — there is no leaf ping or contact bounce to spoil it. The nylon bottom also softens the bottom-out slightly versus an all-PC housing.

Tuning

There is little to do here. The factory feel is already smooth, and HE switches generally are not worth disassembling for hand-lube given the precision sensor alignment. If a spring feels off you can swap it, but for most builders the right move is to drop them in and tune actuation and rapid-trigger settings in software instead. That is where the real “tuning” of an analog switch happens.

Verdict

Buy the Dash 55g if — and only if — you have a Hall-effect board and want a smooth, well-weighted linear for gaming and analog input. It is a strong stock performer that compares favorably to other Jade-style HE switches. If you are running a standard hot-swap or solder PCB with no magnetic sensors, skip it entirely and look at a conventional linear like the Wuque Studio Quartz or Morandi instead; the Dash will not register a single keypress on normal hardware.
