Tuning

There’s little reason to lube a Hall effect switch like this; the contactless mechanism is already smooth and factory lube handles the rails. If the Dawn feels too light under your fingers, the most effective mod isn’t internal at all. Pair it with heavier keycaps to add some perceived resistance and slow your bottom-outs. Otherwise, run it stock and tune the actuation in firmware.

Buy the Dawn if you own a Hall effect board and want a smooth, light, fully adjustable linear for gaming and fast input. It’s a clean, well-behaved switch with excellent stability for the price. Skip it if you type on a standard MX board (it simply won’t work), or if you prefer a heavier, more deliberate linear, in which case a stiffer magnetic option will suit you better.
