clackyFrequently asked
Does the Green Dragon work in any mechanical keyboard?
No. It is a magnetic Hall Effect switch and needs a board with magnetic sensing. It will not register in a standard mechanical PCB, and because of manufacturing tolerances it may not work in every Hall Effect or analog board either — confirm your keyboard lists Gateron magnetic switches as compatible before buying.
What does adjustable actuation mean here?
The board reads the switch's magnetic position continuously, so you set the actuation point in firmware rather than relying on a fixed mechanical contact. You can run a hair-trigger 0.1mm actuation for fast games or a deeper point for everyday typing, and many boards support rapid-trigger too.
Is 33g too light for typing?
It is genuinely light and best suited to fast, repetitive input. Touch typists who bottom out hard may find it a little too eager, but the brisk rebound keeps it from feeling mushy.
