Is the Gateron Magnetic Jade Emerald Heavy a real tactile switch or just analog?
It is a genuinely tactile magnetic switch. Unlike most Hall effect switches, which are linear to preserve clean analog travel, this one builds a real tactile bump into the stem while still reporting position magnetically.

Does it need lubing or filming?
No. It ships factory lubed and the housing tolerances are tight, so it is meant to be run stock. Hand-lubing magnetic switches is fiddly and rarely worth it.
