How silent is the Gateron Zero Degree Fully 45g?
It is one of the more thoroughly silenced linears on the market. Silicone pads sit in both the housing and along the stem rail, muting the top-out and bottom-out almost entirely, leaving only a faint thock rather than a hard click of plastic.
Does it need lube or films?
No. It ships factory lubed and the dual-rail stem keeps wobble low, so it performs well stock. Films are unnecessary on the unified PC-top/Nylon-bottom housing.
What is the actuation and travel?
45g actuation with 1.80mm of pre-travel and 3.60mm total travel — a shorter throw than a standard MX switch, which suits silent linears nicely.
